Death Valley National Park is a land of extremes — both in its terrain and its beauty. Traveler Nyda Severo da Costa Bueno from São José do Rio Preto, Brazil, captured this image of a fellow photographer as he got his own view through a lens during a trip in 2012.
Although this photo comes from California, Death Valley itself covers an area of around 7,800 kilometers in both California and Nevada. Death Valley National Park is located roughly 450 kilometers from Los Angeles, California, and 240 kilometers from Las Vegas, Nevada.
